Mina Thevenin is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). She did her graduate training at University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work and is fully licensed for the independent delivery of mental health services in Kentucky.
In practicing psychotherapy for almost 30 years, Ms. Thevenin has gained extensive experience working with individuals, families, children, and couples. During her career shealso designed and implemented programs for private industry and the military.
Ms. Thevenin has treated a wide range of mental health issues, including trauma, loss, depression, and medical concerns. She strives to motivate her clients to find solutions to or manage issues by countering negative thoughts and behaviors and setting achievable personal goals. Ms. Thevenin is often described by clients as warm, easy to talk with, and helpful.
